The God of Thunder is back to fight yet another mystical trouble. But what happens when he stands face-to-face in a dual with his old friend? Directed by Taika Watiti , Thor: Ragnarok is the third installment of the Thor series and the seventeenth installment of Marvel Cinematic Universe. Set two years after the Battle of Sokovia (Avenges: Age of Ultron), Thor is in search for the Infinity Stones and his father Odin. The realm, on the other hand, is nearing the mouth of the prophesised ‘Ragnarok’ that is fated to bring its end. Added to this is the arrival of the Goddess of Death who is also Thor’s sister and creates havoc in both Asgard and Earth. It is now upto Thor to stop prevent both of them with the help of old and new allies and even foes.
The movie is deemed to be the longest movie of the franchise running for about 130 minutes and 21 seconds. Also, a lot of familiar faces from other franchises are expected to show up during the movie such as Doctor Strange and Hulk. The post-credits scenes of every Marvel movie paves the way for another instalment and Thor:Ragnarok is no different.
The movie was premiered in Los Angeles back in 25th October, 2017 and has already acquired overseas acclamation with its release in Europe and Australia. It is set to premiere in India and US on the Friday, 3rd November. Thor is one of the five films which successfully amassed $100 million in its opening itself. The Guardian and many other film critics have claimed it to be the “funniest Marvel so far by no small margin- but in the nature of that humour.” Rotten Tomatometer is giving the movie a whopping 96% with a “Want To See” rate of 99%. IMDb is giving it a commendable 8.3 out of 10.

Overall, people who closely follow Marvel are expected to queue outside movie halls on 3rd November and their numbers in India is huge! So, predicting houseful in all theatres till the second week of its release.
