From times immemorial, crafts have occupied an integral position in the lives of Indian people. Despite the rapid socio-technological progression of the country, traditional handicrafts continue to exist empowering the millions of rural artists and educating as well as reminding us of our heritage. Bengaluru being a metropolitan city, is often thought to be away from the traditional.  However, hidden in some parts of this IT hub are the roots of India.
